ABOUT ME

Training and Education
I earned my Masters degree in Social Work and I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker from New York University. I opened my private practice in 2006. My experience has been working in Mental Health Centers of New York, Manhattan (Harlem and Jackson Heights), Brooklyn and Westchester (Mt Kisco, Elmsford and White Plains) working with the Latino community who prefer to receive treatment in their native language, Spanish. In my work with individuals, couples and families. I use a compassionate approach combining the training of Systemic Model and cognitive/behavioral techniques in a nurturing, safe, supportive environment.
I got my degree as a Psychologist in Bogotá, Colombia at Santo Tomas de Aquino University on September 1983.
I have over 20 years of experience helping people to identify alternative solutions to their conflicts and to offer them the opportunity make changes that will bring them closer to the realization of their potential.
